The popular tourist resource Daily Star has published information that the Catalan government recently adopted a law that officially eliminates discrimination against women regarding the upper part of a bathing suit on beaches and other bathing places, for example, public and hotel pools.
Tourists who plan to relax in Spain this fall need to be prepared for the realities. Now in the resort areas of Barcelona and the Costa Brava, women can move freely and sunbathe only in the lower part of the swimsuit. It is worth noting that any attempts to make comments to such women will be regarded as a violation of their legal rights with all the consequences that follow from this – scandalous situations, proceedings with the police, possible fines.
