Now Russians, Belarusians, Japanese, South Koreans and citizens of 9 more European countries can stay in Vietnam continuously:
- up to 45 days without a visa;
- up to 90 days with an EV electronic visa, which can be repeatedly extended.
The start of the permitted period of stay in Vietnam will be considered a stamp received upon entry into the state.
With an electronic visa, you can enter through 13 airports, 16 land and 13 sea border gates.
Thanks to such changes, the government plans to increase the number of people wishing to visit Vietnam, whose tourist infrastructure is still unable to recover from the crisis caused by the well-known coronavirus restrictions.
